At The Arts Market of New Orlelans
Here I am at the art market selling my work
WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT...
Storyville was the dedicated red light district of New Orleans from 1897 to 1917. My artwork incorporates the photographs of EJ Bellocq, a photographer of the times, who captured the prostitues in casual settings. My shrines and fetish boxes of the Tombs of New Orleans show the decay of forgotten "cities of the dead" and my nostalgic historic New Orleans pieces of bygone places, such as Pontchartrain Beach and Canal Street buildings from the 1930.
The darker side of humanity is what fascinates me.

Sure wish you were going to be there second weekend when I am coming...
Thanks for the comment. I show at the Arts Market every last Saturday and the Oak Street Po-Boy Festival that is in November too...maybe sometime when you come back to town you can stop by and visit.
